Sailability www.sailability.org.au/vic is an innovative sailing program specifically designed for people with disabilities. It is usually run through a yacht club where experienced sailors provide the overall guidance.

Our school has become involved in the Geelong program where there are currently 6 specifically designed small yachts. Each sailing program is staffed by a minimum of 6 people. Two from the Royal Geelong Yacht Club are in the rescue boat and 4 from the agency participate in supervision and accompanying students in the yachts if need be.

Feedback from students, families and the staff has been very positive and indicates that this is a most successful recreational activity.
