BVS is an eSmart school and is currently working towards the Sustaining phase of this framework. The eSmart school program was developed under the auspices of the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

ESmart Schools provides a framework that consists of 6 domains that guide policies and practices using a whole-school approach to support the creation of a cyber-safe or eSmart environment whilst promoting safe online practices when using ICT devices.
